The culmination of book week encouraged all children and teachers to dress up as their favourite book character. There was a great response from room 4, with so many making a real effort.
At the beginning of the week, we were lucky enough to be joined by a guest story-teller. He kept us entertained with his humerous, animated approach to story-telling. We learnt a lot from his approach, body language and delivering a story with different expression.
Every afternoon this week, Mr Marston has disappeared off to another classroom to tell a few tales. Whilst room 4 have had the privilege of a guest teacher reading a story. The children have loved the experience and really promoted the importance of reading to engage our imagination.
Great to see all the teachers make such a good effort too! |
